Campus-Based New Teacher Program
Our "Campus-Based New Teacher Program" means we will come in and meet with all new teachers monthly. Sessions will cover the eight modules listed below. We support teachers through collaborative coaching. Our coaches strive to support educators' professional learning, growth, and development in a way that improves learner outcomes. Coaching is beneficial in assisting with teacher recruitment and retention.
A coach can boost a teacher's self-assurance, effectiveness, and job happiness. If they don't have a coach, one in three new teachers leaves the field within five years, according to research by the U.S. Education Department. When there is a good coach-coachee connection, the percentage falls to one in seven.
The coach and coachee must understand each other for coaching to be effective. This defines the ground rules for the coaching relationship so that everyone involved understands their level of commitment.
The coach-coachee will concentrate on a different area of interest every month. A monthly checklist with responsibilities will also be provided.
